Personal Efficiency (personalefficiency.co.za) is a LinkDaddy LLC initiative — a community platform for South African workers and business owners dealing with workplace stress, burnout, and the challenges of work. The platform is led by Anthony James Peacock.

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and its Regulations. For the purposes of POPIA, LinkDaddy LLC is the Responsible Party in respect of the personal information we process.

POPIA gives South African residents the right to know what personal information is collected about them, how it is used, and to whom it is disclosed. We process your personal information only when we have a lawful basis to do so, and we apply the eight conditions for lawful processing:

8. The Pesa AI Assistant

Pesa is an AI-powered assistant designed to help you navigate workplace challenges. Please be aware of the following when using Pesa:

  • Conversations with Pesa are processed by our AI infrastructure to generate responses.
  • We do not permanently store the content of your Pesa conversations after your session ends.
  • Pesa is not a mental health professional. If you are in crisis, please contact SADAG on 0800 567 567.
  • Do not share sensitive personal information (such as ID numbers or financial details) in Pesa conversations.
  • Pesa conversations may be reviewed in anonymised form to improve the quality of responses.

9. Your Rights Under POPIA

As a data subject under POPIA, you have the following rights in respect of your personal information:

  • Seminar registration records are retained for 5 years for accounting and legal purposes.
  • Forum posts are retained for as long as your account is active or until you request deletion.
  • Analytics data is retained in anonymised form indefinitely.
  • Cookie consent records are retained for 1 year.
  • Email communication records are retained for 3 years.

11. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, destruction, or alteration. These measures include:

14. Changes to This Policy
