Last updated: 9 March 2026 · Please read these terms carefully before using the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using https://personalefficiency.co.za (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LinkDaddy LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. About the Platform

Personal Efficiency is a LinkDaddy LLC initiative — a community platform for South African workers and business owners dealing with workplace stress, burnout, and the challenges of professional life. The Platform provides:

  • A community forum for anonymous peer discussion
  • Articles and resources on workplace wellbeing
  • Seminar listings and registration
  • The Pesa AI assistant for workplace guidance
  • The SA Workplace Barometer self-assessment tool

The Platform is intended for adults aged 18 and older. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

3. Not Professional Advice

The content on this Platform, including the Pesa AI assistant, articles, forum discussions, and the SA Workplace Barometer, is for informational and community support purposes only.

Nothing on this Platform constitutes or should be construed as:

  • Professional psychological or psychiatric advice or treatment
  • Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Legal advice
  • Financial or career advice
  • A substitute for consultation with a qualified professional

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional immediately or call SADAG on 0800 567 567 (free, 24/7, confidential).

4. The Pesa AI Assistant

Pesa is an AI-powered assistant designed to help you explore and understand workplace challenges. By using Pesa, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Pesa is an artificial intelligence tool, not a human counsellor or therapist.
  • Pesa's responses are generated by a language model and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information.
  • Pesa's responses should not be relied upon as professional advice of any kind.
  • You should not share sensitive personal information (such as ID numbers, financial details, or information about third parties) in Pesa conversations.
  • Conversations with Pesa are processed by our AI infrastructure. We do not permanently store conversation content after your session ends.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Pesa at any time without notice.

5. Community Forum — Acceptable Use

The forum is a space for anonymous, respectful peer support. By posting in the forum, you agree to the following Community Standards:

You MAY:

  • Share your experiences with workplace stress, burnout, and difficult relationships at work
  • Ask for peer support and offer support to others
  • Use a pseudonym to protect your identity
  • Share resources, articles, and coping strategies
  • Respectfully disagree with other members

You MAY NOT:

  • Post content that is abusive, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory
  • Share personal information about identifiable third parties without their consent
  • Post spam, advertisements, or promotional content
  • Impersonate any person or organisation
  • Post content that is illegal under South African law
  • Provide or solicit professional advice (medical, legal, financial, psychological)
  • Post content that glorifies or encourages self-harm or suicide
  • Attempt to identify or "dox" other anonymous members

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards and to restrict or ban users who repeatedly violate them, without prior notice.

6. User-Generated Content

When you post content on the Platform (including forum posts and replies), you:

  • Retain ownership of your content.
  • Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the community.
  • Confirm that your content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party.
  • Understand that content posted in the forum is visible to other Platform users and that anonymity is provided by pseudonym only — we cannot guarantee absolute anonymity.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform that is not user-generated — including articles, design, graphics, the Pesa AI system, the SA Workplace Barometer, and all underlying software — is owned by or licensed to LinkDaddy LLC and is protected by South African and international copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Seminar Registrations

When you register for a seminar through the Platform:

  • You will receive a confirmation email at the address you provide.
  • Seminar details (date, time, venue) are subject to change. We will notify registered attendees of any material changes.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule seminars. In such cases, registered attendees will be notified and offered an alternative date or a full refund where applicable.
  • Seminar content is for educational and community support purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, LinkDaddy LLC and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity
  • Damage arising from your reliance on content provided by the Platform, including Pesa AI responses
  • Damage arising from user-generated content posted by other community members
  • Interruption or unavailability of the Platform

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LinkDaddy LLC and its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform in violation of these Terms
  • Content you post on the Platform
  • Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party

11. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or resources. These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. You access third-party sites at your own risk.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
